Olena Zelenska Takes Part in the Annual Meeting of the Heads of Ukraine’s Foreign Diplomatic Missions

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the annual meeting of the heads of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions, which this year was entitled “From the Power of Diplomacy to the Diplomacy of Power.”

“Today, Ukraine’s fight is not only for people and territory. It is a fight for principles. Yes, now we must save not only ourselves, but the world, its humanity and human-centered values, which have been shaken. This is a new task for all of us, and for our diplomacy,” the President’s wife stated.

Olena Zelenska summarized the outcomes of key areas of cooperation with the diplomatic corps where soft power is being applied. These include the creation of more than 100 Ukrainian-language audio guides at major landmarks around the world, 260 Ukrainian bookshelves, the signing of 14 memoranda within the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies, the organization of the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, cooperation on projects of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, and support for the School Nutrition Reform.

“Cooperation with Ukraine today is an invitation to shared values. It is about justice and principles for everyone,” the First Lady emphasized.

She also took part in a meeting of the Association of Ukrainian Diplomatic Spouses, which currently includes over 80 active members and 50 associate members.

Under the leadership of Tetiana Sybiha, the wife of Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Association implements humanitarian and cultural projects, including organizing recreational trips for children, creating training opportunities for psychotherapists, supporting women entrepreneurs, and engaging philanthropists.

“Today, each of us Ukrainians is a diplomat – a voice and representative of Ukraine in the world where we must speak up, persuade, and make ourselves heard. But this ability will certainly come – if we act,” Olena Zelenska concluded.
