Updated Council for Entrepreneurship Support Will Increase Business Representation and Broaden Scope of Activities – Andriy Yermak

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expanded the Council for Entrepreneurship Support to strengthen dialogue between the state and domestic business, address pressing issues, and develop a new economic strategy. This was stated by the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, during his participation in the State and Business Forum: From Dialogue to Partnership.

Andriy Yermak emphasized that the President pays great attention to Ukraine’s economic development and to building effective dialogue with entrepreneurs. According to him, the Council for Entrepreneurship Support in the Conditions of Martial Law, initiated by the Head of State last year, has demonstrated successful results.

Thanks to dialogue with business representatives, legislative changes have been developed, including the regulation of land ownership rights, and the Pulse platform was launched. Investment protection has also been improved, and pressure on business has been reduced. Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to every Council member for the achieved results.

The Head of the Presidential Office noted that Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to expand the Council to include representatives of small, medium, and large businesses from across Ukraine, enabling coverage of a broader range of activities.

In addition, 11 sectoral committees will be established, covering fields from defense industry and agriculture to pharmaceuticals, IT, and economic recovery issues.

“Every sector of the economy deserves deeper analysis and more profound discussions so that, ultimately, business, together with the government, can shape Ukraine’s development strategy,” concluded the Head of the Office of the President.
