First Ladies of Ukraine and Estonia Met with Participants of a Technology and Creativity Program Implemented with the Support of Estonian Partners

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and First Lady of Estonia Sirje Karis met with Ukrainian schoolgirls participating in the Girls’ Technology and Creativity Program – Ukraine.

The program is designed for Ukrainian girls aged 8–11 and aims to create a positive experience of engaging with technology, while developing confidence, courage, creative and logical thinking, problem-solving skills, collaboration, communication, and the ability to organize their own activities.

A total of 300 girls from Zhytomyr and Malyn will take part. They will attend 20 special classes led by trained instructors. The first class took place today at the Cuboid Museum of Mathematics in Kyiv with the participation of the First Ladies of both countries.

“I am grateful to Estonia for this support for our children. Because we want all of them to develop to their fullest and to have an interesting, fulfilling journey of growth. Together, we are doing everything possible for that,” Olena Zelenska said.

The project is funded by the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and implemented by HK Unicorn Squad MTÜ and Proud Engineers OÜ of Estonia, with the support of the Malyn Education Department and the Education Department of the Zhytomyr City Council.
