Following the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit, the President Held Six Bilateral Meetings with Foreign Leaders

In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held six bilateral meetings with the heads of state and government of the countries participating in the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit: the Presidents of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Albania, as well as the Prime Ministers of Croatia and Slovenia.

During the meetings, the parties held in-depth discussions on bilateral relations, ways to further strengthen them, and the broader international agenda.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine values the support of the countries of Southeast Europe and is committed to building reliable, strong partnerships with each of them.

"Together, we can do a lot to strengthen our shared security and advance our development. We have promising projects with nearly every country in the region," the Head of State said.

The President thanked Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, and Slovenia for their solidarity with Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that this was the second time the summit had been held in Ukraine in this format. It is important that the leaders come to our country and see what our people endure every day.

The foreign guests also visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which was damaged by a Russian strike in June.

"We must continue pressuring the aggressor so that these attacks against life come to an end and a dignified peace can be achieved," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
