In Ankara, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni.
The Head of State thanked Italy for its support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people during Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The leaders discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense with additional interceptor missiles and creating a European Anti-Ballistic Coalition. The President noted that everyone in Europe needs their own anti-ballistic capabilities and that work on them must be pursued as actively as possible.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Giorgia Meloni also spoke about work on the Drone Deal between Ukraine and Italy.
