President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Minister of Defense of Estonia, Martin Herem.
The Head of State underscored Estonia’s active assistance in strengthening the protection of Ukraine's skies and thanked the country for every defense package and its support for the PURL initiative, which enables Ukraine to obtain ballistic missile interceptors.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Martin Herem discussed possible new contributions to the PURL initiative and ways to secure additional funding for air defense procurement.
They also focused on implementing the Drone Deal, which will enable Ukraine to export its weapons to Estonia.
“The Drone Deal has opened up opportunities for exports from our country to yours. We are ready to discuss drones, electronic warfare systems, and other equipment we produce,” the Head of State said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Estonia can obtain proven weapons, while Ukraine can receive additional funding for its defense. The Head of State and the Minister of Defense of Estonia agreed that teams from both countries would move quickly to put together such an export package.
The Estonian Defense Minister emphasized that his country will continue providing military support to Ukraine.

“This year, I have visited many places in Ukraine. Usually, our citizens see the war only on television. But I have seen your courage with my own eyes and witnessed how you stand up for your values,” Martin Herem said.
The Head of State and the Estonian Defense Minister also discussed Ukraine’s integration into the European Union. The President thanked Estonia for its steadfast support for our path to the EU.
The meeting also covered the security situation in the region and Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure that have claimed our people's lives.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Martin Herem also discussed Ukraine’s winter preparations and cooperation between the two countries' armed forces.
