In New York, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten.
The Head of State briefed him on the recent talks with the American side and the de-escalation proposals currently on the table.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine wants peace more than anyone else and is ready to act reciprocally – to refrain from striking the aggressor’s energy and export infrastructure if Moscow shows the same willingness.
“But for now, instead of willingness, there are Russian ballistic missile and jet-powered drone strikes, so we are doing everything to protect our people. And the Netherlands’ support – military, energy, and financial – is truly helping strengthen our positions,” the President emphasized.
The Head of State thanked the Netherlands and Prime Minister Rob Jetten personally for supporting Ukraine.
