In Paris, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the U.S. President's team: Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and White House Senior Advisor Josh Gruenbaum.
During the meeting, the parties discussed specific issues relating to cooperation between Ukraine and the United States to achieve a just peace. Particular attention was paid to today’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing and to the documents that were signed and approved as a result.
They also discussed the involvement of American partners in Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic recovery.
The parties also addressed further areas of cooperation. On January 7 in Paris, the delegations of Ukraine, the United States, and European countries will continue work on security guarantees and a basic framework for ending the war.
A Ukrainian delegation will be working in Paris, comprising Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President Sergiy Kyslytsya, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov, Head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada Davyd Arakhamia, and Advisor to the Office of the President Oleksandr Bevz.
