President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held phone calls with President of Finland Alexander Stubb and Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre.
The Head of State thanked the leaders for their unwavering support for Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed the partners in detail on the situation following the Russian strikes and the new escalation of terror against Ukrainian cities and communities.
The President noted that air raid alerts have continued for almost the entire day in Kyiv and other cities and regions, with a constant threat from jet-powered “shaheds.” Ballistic missile strikes were also carried out overnight.
The leaders of Ukraine and Finland discussed what could make the most tangible contribution to strengthening the defense of our country, enhancing Ukraine’s F-16s and air defense overall.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Jonas Gahr Støre also discussed what Ukraine needs to protect itself against Russia’s escalation, particularly air defense and support for our F-16s.
“We are coordinating our steps and working to provide greater protection for people’s lives and security,” the Head of State said.
