President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military command, which was also attended by the commander of the 310th Separate Electronic Warfare Battalion and the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Commander of the 310th Separate Electronic Warfare Battalion Dmytro Liashok reported on the number of Russian drones used in attacks and on countering them through the unified joint electronic warfare center and mobile fire groups. The military demonstrated how these systems operate.

The President also heard a report from the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi, on developing and scaling up the number of electronic warfare systems.

In addition, the participants discussed protecting roads and logistics with specialized nets.

“We identified what Kherson needs to strengthen its protection. Thousands of Russian drone strikes against this city every month – the threat is virtually constant. I have decided that our Unmanned Systems Forces, Magyar's Birds, and other units will increase their defensive capabilities here. It is important that all of this is implemented,” the President said.

They also discussed the energy matters, ensuring that Kherson has everything it needs, and the respective financing.

“Today we also have decisions regarding the energy sector – equipment for Kherson, additional funding. At most, these decisions must be approved tomorrow by the government at the level of the respective ministers,” the Head of State noted.

Support and additional resources for municipal services, schools, and kindergartens were also addressed.

“The regional authorities have submitted requests on the needs of communities across the Kherson region, and these must be met – for kindergartens, support for education, and all social needs. People here deserve stronger support,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
