The President Held a Joint Phone Call with European Leaders and the NATO Secretary General

In Paris, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with President of France Emmanuel Macron, held a joint phone call with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz, Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk, President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, President of Finland Alexander Stubb, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, President of the European Council António Costa, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and the United Kingdom Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell.

The leaders discussed key priorities, the substance of the Ukrainian delegation’s talks with the American side in Florida, and preparations for meetings in Europe. A significant part of Europe stands together, and this greatly helps defend shared interests. The leaders share the view that the war must be brought to a dignified end.

The Head of State emphasized that it is important to make progress on developing security guarantees and a long-term foundation for the resilience of both Ukraine and the whole of Europe. The parties agreed to continue their coordination.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone for their support.
