President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
They discussed the needs for protecting Ukrainian skies, in particular the further implementation of the PURL initiative, which enables Ukraine to receive missiles for Patriot systems.
“Strength for air defense is our key priority, and people’s lives must be protected. We are preparing updates on the PURL initiative,” the Head of State emphasized.
They also discussed key security challenges currently facing everyone in the world. The President stressed the importance of coordination and strengthening one another.
