President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten.
The Head of State informed the Prime Minister about the recent Russian attacks against Ukrainian cities and communities and thanked him for his sincere words of compassion and support.
“Almost every day, the Russians strike our people, sparing no ballistic missiles in their efforts to destroy lives. Air defense missiles are our main priority,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
The leaders discussed how the Netherlands can help Ukraine’s defense now and as the country prepares for winter. Ukraine greatly appreciates the Netherlands’ willingness to work toward finding solutions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Rob Jetten also discussed the diplomatic situation and the meetings held in Washington last week. They also spoke about Ukraine’s integration into the European Union, efforts to open four more negotiating clusters, and the enlargement more broadly.
The Head of State thanked the Netherlands for its attention to Ukraine and readiness to help.
