President of Ukraine Discussed Transport and Infrastructure Projects, Energy Support, and Humanitarian Assistance for Ukrainians with Prime Minister of Serbia

In Belgrade, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Serbia Đuro Macut.

The Head of State briefed him on the consequences of Russia’s massive missile and drone attacks on our country, including the one carried out overnight into Saturday.

The President and the Prime Minister discussed in detail opportunities to implement joint economic projects of interest to both countries.

In particular, they discussed cooperation in the transport sector to improve connectivity between the two countries, strengthen regional logistics, develop the Danube Corridor, and deepen integration between Ukraine, the Western Balkans, and the European Union.

Special attention was paid to supporting Ukraine’s energy sector and preparations for winter. The President thanked Serbia for allocating €2 million this year to support Ukraine’s energy sector.

They also discussed prospects for Serbia’s participation in Ukraine’s recovery, including the reconstruction of one of the affected Ukrainian cities.
