President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The leaders discussed the outcomes of the summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, which marked an important peace achievement for the Middle East.
The President stressed the need to maintain and build on this momentum. Global unity has succeeded in the Middle East, and now everything must be done to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, which remains the greatest source of global instability and danger.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that, just as everywhere else, peace is possible through strength, and therefore, Russia must be forced to stop the war.
The Head of State informed the Prime Minister about the situation in Ukraine and the impact of Russian strikes on the country’s energy system. Efforts continue to strengthen air defense as much as possible before winter begins. The President acknowledged that Greece can help protect lives and expressed his gratitude.
