President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović.
The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to the people of Montenegro for their sincere support of Ukraine and our fight against Russian aggression.
He once again emphasized that our state is making every possible effort to bring the war to a just conclusion. In particular, Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about constructive dialogue with U.S. President Donald Trump, the readiness for a full, unconditional ceasefire, and direct negotiations with Russia at the highest level.
The Presidents of Ukraine and Montenegro discussed in detail the stance taken by Russia and the need to increase pressure to achieve peace.
The leaders also discussed prospects for cooperation between Ukraine and Montenegro in various sectors and agreed to work on its development.
Special attention was given to the European integration of Ukraine and Montenegro. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Jakov Milatović agreed to continue exchanging experiences in this process.
Additionally, the presidents coordinated the schedule of upcoming events involving leaders of Southeast European countries.
