President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held his first phone call with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, and congratulated him on taking office.
Andy Burnham reaffirmed that the support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people would remain steadfast. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked him for his warm words of respect for the Ukrainian people and his condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in Russia's recent attacks.
"Ukraine and the United Kingdom have built the strongest partnership in the history of relations between our two countries, and we will certainly continue working to expand it even further," the President said.
The leaders agreed to discuss their continued cooperation, including their work within the Anti-Ballistic Coalition, at a meeting in the near future.
