On the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with the country’s senior military leadership, honored the sacrifice of Ukrainian warriors and laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine in the Russian war against Ukraine.

“We preserve the memory of every name, every story, every hero who is now part of the great history of our state. We honor the sacrifice of every one of them. Eternal memory to the fallen warriors. Eternal gratitude,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on social media.
Minister of Defense Yevhenii Khmara, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Skybiuk, Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Ihor Klymenko, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Rustem Umerov, and Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Oleh Ivashchenko joined the Head of State in honoring the memory of the fallen warriors with a minute of silence.
