President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of those killed at the site of the residential building destroyed by a Russian missile strike on May 14 in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district.

The attack destroyed an entire section of the building, from the first to the ninth floor. The Russian missile claimed the lives of 24 people, including three children.
The search and rescue operation continued nonstop for more than 28 hours. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police provided assistance to around 400 people.
Emergency recovery work is now ongoing at the site of the strike.
According to preliminary data, Russia struck the residential building with a Kh-101 missile manufactured in the second quarter of this year. This happened during a Russian attack that lasted nearly two days. During that time, Russia launched waves of 1,567 drones and 56 missiles, including aeroballistic, ballistic, and cruise missiles.
