On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of fallen Ukrainian warriors.
The Head of State noted that Ukraine’s strongest pillar is its defenders, who hold the front line every day, save their brothers and sisters-in-arms, defend Ukrainian cities and villages, and give our country the ability to stand firm.
“Today, on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, we especially remember all those who gave Ukraine the most precious thing they had – their lives. We honor their memory – those thanks to whom we can live today and build the future of our country,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
The President walked along the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv.
The fallen warriors were honored with a moment of silence.
