On Knowledge Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy greeted students at a school in the Kyiv region on the start of the new academic year.
The Head of State spoke with the students and administration of the educational institution.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the school’s book of honored guests and observed lessons conducted as educational quests on the sports ground, in classrooms, and in the cafeteria.
The school principal informed the President that the institution accommodates 960 students, has a shelter, and all premises meet the New Ukrainian School standards. Classrooms are equipped with modern interactive technology, and a rooftop terrace has been created for outdoor recreation and informal learning. The school also includes an assembly hall, a multipurpose area, sports and dance spaces, and club rooms for extracurricular activities. There are sports fields for football, basketball, and volleyball on campus.
Each classroom is equipped with a dispatcher call button, a fire alarm, and a public address system.
Additionally, under the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment, launched by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, the school has developed an accessible educational setting.
