In Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the defense company Lockheed Martin.
The Head of State thanked the United States of America, U.S. President Donald Trump, and the company representatives for their support to Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Russia is carrying out increasingly brutal strikes against Ukraine ahead of winter.
The President outlined Ukraine’s specific needs for air defense systems and compatible missiles, as well as F-16 aircraft. Lockheed Martin representatives shared information on the company’s production capacities.
The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation and ways to strengthen Ukraine’s protection against Russian aggression. Lockheed Martin is open to partnership. The Head of State emphasized that our state knows the concrete steps required to enhance its defense and is working with partners at all levels.
