At the training facilities of the National Guard of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was shown how National Guard warriors undergo their preparation.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Commander of the National Guard Oleksandr Pivnenko reported on the main training areas and educational programs for the National Guard personnel.
The military demonstrated the training process for tank and infantry fighting vehicle crews. Modern dynamic simulators are used during training, along with practical exercises conducted under conditions close to real combat.
The Head of State was also briefed on the preparation of drone operators — including those controlling attack, reconnaissance, and logistics drones.
Additionally, the President was informed about the tactical medicine training (stopping critical bleeding, providing first aid under fire, evacuating the wounded, and stabilizing their condition until medical personnel arrive). Over the past months, more than five hundred combat medics have been trained, who are now saving the lives of Ukrainian warriors on the frontline.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy was also shown samples of weaponry and armored machinery, including tanks, IFVs, Bohdana self-propelled howitzers, armored vehicles, ground robotic platforms, and unmanned aerial systems used by Ukraine’s defenders at the front.
