President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
The Head of State thanked the President of the European Commission for her continued support, leadership, and readiness to help Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ursula von der Leyen discussed support for Ukraine’s European integration, including the possibility of opening the remaining five negotiating clusters in the near future.
The teams of Ukraine and the European Union are working on a Drone Deal, and today the leaders discussed the next steps and a possible timeline for signing the agreement.
The President of Ukraine and the President of the European Commission also coordinated their positions on upcoming international events, both abroad and in Ukraine.
Particular attention was devoted to the energy track. The Head of State noted that everyone is interested in ending this war before winter, but regardless of how events unfold, Ukraine must be ready to protect its people and ensure the country's resilience.
The President thanked the European Commission for its energy support and for fulfilling all previous commitments. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ursula von der Leyen also discussed new ideas for strengthening energy security across Europe.
