At the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Brazil Lula da Silva.
The leaders discussed ways to achieve peace in Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed President Lula on engagements with the United States and other partners.

The President of Ukraine spoke about public sentiment inside Russia and Russians’ actual attitude toward the war. The level of trust in the Russian leader continues to decline not only in major cities but also in the regions. This is evidenced by the data available to Ukraine. The Head of State noted that this should be used in the process of achieving peace.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also stressed that pressure on Russia must be increased to compel the aggressor to make peace.
The President of Brazil stated that he supports achieving peace in Ukraine and will continue making efforts to help bring this war to an end.
The leaders agreed on further contacts.
