President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.
Petr Pavel noted that he closely follows not only diplomacy but also the frontline situation. The leaders discussed the strong operation carried out by Ukrainian forces in Kupyansk, which clearly demonstrated the true worth of words coming from Moscow. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that it is very important for Ukraine that the world knows the truth – Ukrainians are holding their positions, which provides the right foundation for diplomatic efforts.
The leaders also addressed the continuation of the Czech initiative, which has already delivered 1.8 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine, with further supplies expected by the end of the year. There is potential to ensure Ukraine’s capabilities next year as well. The Presidents agreed to work on its implementation.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Petr Pavel also coordinated their next contacts and meetings.
