Presidents of Ukraine and Finland Coordinated Positions for the Most Productive Joint Work with the United States

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of Finland Alexander Stubb.

The leaders coordinated their positions for the most productive joint work with the United States.

The President of Ukraine stressed that it is important that America has the determination and the capability to end the war, and that Ukraine welcomes U.S. President Donald Trump’s desire to stop the killings. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the need to act wisely and in a coordinated manner to respond to Russia’s intention to prolong the war and seize territorial spoils.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Alexander Stubb for his support and noted that Ukraine and Finland have the longest borders with Russia in Europe, and the people of both countries know well what threats this entails.

The Presidents of Ukraine and Finland agreed to continue working together for common security.
