President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of France Emmanuel Macron.
The Head of State shared Ukraine’s perspective on yesterday’s conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders.
Emmanuel Macron informed about his contacts with partners that had already taken place earlier today, as well as those still planned for the day.
The two leaders coordinated their positions and exchanged views on the situation. The Presidents of Ukraine and France agreed that there must be a common European view on key security issues for Europe. Much depends – both now and in the long term – on the prudence and effectiveness of each step taken by Europe, the United States, and Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron share the same view: the work at both the advisor and leader levels must deliver results.
The Presidents agreed to discuss the outcomes of their conversations with other leaders later.
Emmanuel Macron also briefly outlined the situation with wildfires in southern France. Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered to provide the necessary assistance.
