In Paris, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of France Emmanuel Macron held a meeting ahead of the presentation of the Anti-Ballistic Program and the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
The leaders coordinated their positions, discussed key priorities ahead of the meetings, and addressed bilateral cooperation.
The Presidents spoke in detail about the situation on the front and Ukraine’s needs in protecting people from Russian attacks.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the importance of strengthening Ukraine, reinforcing Ukrainian air defenses, and accelerating the development of Europe’s anti-ballistic capabilities. According to the President of Ukraine, France has precisely the capabilities and advanced technologies needed to help.
“Relations between our countries have reached a truly strategic level, due in large part to President Macron’s personal efforts. Today, I thanked Emmanuel for his assistance and support throughout these years and awarded the Order of Freedom to the President, a true friend of Ukraine,” the Head of State emphasized.
