President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Moldova Maia Sandu.
The Head of State thanked Moldova for its consistent support for Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion. The parties discussed the peace process, diplomatic efforts, and cooperation with U.S. and European institutions.
Particular attention was given to the development of bilateral trade, economic, and agro-industrial cooperation, security partnership, and the implementation of joint infrastructure and border projects.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Maia Sandu discussed the joint path toward membership in the European Union, with a particular focus on the simultaneous opening of the first negotiating clusters.
The meeting also addressed strengthening trilateral cooperation among Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania.
