President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Ukraine and Serbia. The Presidents share the view that relations should be strong and they have potential for further development.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that in the coming days, the designated representative of the Government of Ukraine – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka – will be working in Belgrade.
“We are counting on mutually beneficial agreements, including on resuming negotiations on a free trade area with Serbia,” the Head of State stressed.
The President of Serbia also outlined his diplomatic agenda for the near future. The leaders agreed to stay in contact.
