In Ankara, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the United States Donald Trump and his team.
The Head of State thanked President Trump for placing strong emphasis on strengthening Ukraine's air defense to better protect people's lives.
The leaders discussed some ideas that could strengthen Ukraine's positions and bring peace closer. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he expects their teams to promptly follow up on everything discussed during the meeting.
Particular attention was devoted to diplomacy. The Ukrainian and U.S. Presidents are trying to make it work.
"We will keep working productively to make it happen," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
