Olha Budnyk, Advisor – Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science, and Sports, presented the Prizes of the President of Ukraine to the winners of national and international Olympiads.

A total of 33 school and university students who won national Olympiads, and seven international Olympiad prizewinners in physics, astronomy, and astrophysics, as well as participants in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) and the European Olympiad in Experimental Science (EOES), received the awards in person.
“We want to see you as the people who will drive our country forward, and we are confident that Ukraine needs exactly this kind of young leaders. What abroad takes years to achieve, in Ukraine, young people accomplish much sooner: founding startups, joining the government, or becoming outstanding scientists,” Olha Budnyk said.
This year, a total of 94 students have been awarded the President of Ukraine prizes: 33 winners of international Olympiads and 61 winners of national Olympiads. Winners of the fourth stage of national student Olympiads receive a prize of UAH 20,000, while winners and prizewinners of international student Olympiads receive UAH 100,000.
