Dear Ukrainians!
First of all, I want to thank our warriors for their precision: overnight, our long-range operations delivered strong results. We continue, entirely rightly, responding to Russia for its war and for its strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure.
Today, targets were hit near Moscow, as well as in the Tambov region. These were elements of Russian logistics, including warehouses used to distribute equipment for the war: navigation systems, components for drone production, and other supplies for the Russian army. Our Ukrainian weapons also reached another oil facility, as well as targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. This was one of our important operations. And there will be more. There will be more assets for mid-range strikes.
The plan for long-range sanctions is also being carried out at a fairly steady pace. I want to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, our intelligence services – the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service – our missile forces and artillery, and, of course, the Security Service of Ukraine. Russia has long had every opportunity to turn to diplomacy and end its aggression – and it is the refusals by Russia’s leadership and their desire to keep fighting that are the reason why the war continues. This year alone, we have reached out to Russia dozens of times with proposals to stop this war – but all we got in return were refusals. Our partners are trying to help organize a meeting of the leaders – the United States, Türkiye, other Europeans, and Arab countries as well. Putin has no desire to end the war.
Today, we had detailed discussions with the commanders of our corps. These are exactly the sections of the front where the fighting is extremely intense: the Pokrovsk and other directions in the Donetsk region, the Oleksandrivka direction, as well as Zaporizhzhia and the Kharkiv region. I am grateful for the defense of our positions and for striking the occupier. Just our 17th Corps alone, operating in the Zaporizhzhia sector, causes around 7,000 Russian losses every month, killed and wounded. There are constant Russian assaults in that area. The occupier’s army simply does not count the cost in lives. So, of course, it is difficult, but the corps is delivering results for Ukraine. The same goes for our other corps on the front line. Thank you for your strength. Everything that is needed in terms of supplies, weapons, long-range artillery, and UGVs will be discussed at the Staff meeting as early as Monday.
I also heard the issues that exist in relations between the Army and other structures on the ground. Of course, solutions are needed – and they will be found, including regarding what regional and local authorities must do to support our units and ensure the necessary communication. We are also actively working with partners to ensure that the agreements on the supply of missiles and other special types of weapons are implemented.
And one more thing. Yesterday and today have been filled with consultations. Of course, I hear what people are saying. Today, I spoke at length with Mykhailo Fedorov. I also spoke with Oleksandr Syrskyi today. Decisions regarding the army will be worked out. Thank you to everyone who cares about Ukraine. Thank you to everyone defending our positions on the front line and to those doing their best to bring the war back home – to Russia, where it came from.
Glory to Ukraine!
