Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with the Minister for the European Union of Poland, Adam Szłapka.

The discussion primarily focused on the outcomes of the meeting between the leaders of France, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine, which took place in Kyiv on May 10, as well as the Joint Statement issued by the leaders.

Ihor Zhovkva emphasized the importance of continued joint efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, in particular through the strengthening of sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation in coordination with international partners.

In addition, the sides discussed trade liberalization between Ukraine and the European Union, emphasizing the importance of coordinating the relevant terms in the near future.

Other topics included preparations for the sixth meeting of the European Political Community, which will take place on May 16 in Tiranë, Albania.
