President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Kenya William Ruto.
The Head of State informed his counterpart about the large-scale Russian attack overnight on June 15, which resulted in casualties.
The leaders discussed cooperation within international organizations. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Kenya for supporting Ukraine’s resolutions in the United Nations General Assembly.
Special attention was paid to the development of bilateral relations in various areas, including investment attraction, agriculture, and education. The Head of State stressed that Ukraine is ready to share its experience with Kenya and implement joint projects. The leaders agreed that their teams would work out the details of possible cooperation.
The presidents also discussed deepening cooperation in food security. Despite the war, Ukraine continues to do everything possible to remain a reliable supplier of food products.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the President of Kenya to visit Ukraine.
