President of Ukraine

Speeches

Ukraine’s defense production capacity, combined with partner investments – primarily from Europe – forms a reliable foundation for a new security architecture that will inevitably be established on our continent. There is no alternative to this.

We will do everything to further intensify diplomacy. We will do everything to make diplomacy effective. But every day now is about defending our independence, our state, and our people. We must remember – it is the support of our army, all our defense and security forces, and our state that determines everything.

Active pressure is needed, not just talks. Pressure on Russia. Strong measures are needed to take even the first steps toward ending the war. This includes sanctions – sanctions against Russia must not only be maintained but continuously strengthened.

Our teams worked very well at the meeting in Saudi Arabia, and contacts with the American side are ongoing. We, Ukrainians, are very committed to a constructive approach.

Ukraine is ready to work as quickly and constructively as possible. We have discussed this with U.S. representatives, and our European partners, as well as all our allies worldwide, are aware of it.

Today I held a Staff meeting – Technology Staff. The focus was primarily on our drones and the long-range strikes conducted by Ukrainian drones. We analyzed their recent use: the quality of the strikes, the results of their application, and the most effective drone models.

Our delegation has just reported on the meeting with the American team in Saudi Arabia. The discussion lasted most of the day today, and it was a good discussion – constructive, our teams managed to cover many details.

I want to thank all our units who, steadfastly and despite everything, are destroying the occupier, repelling assaults, and defending our positions. Diplomacy will only be strong with strong frontline positions.

They are thinking not about how to end the war, but about how to destroy and capture more as long as the world allows them to keep waging this war.

We continue working on the relevant steps with our partners who want peace, who want it just as much as we do. And next week there will be a lot of work here in Europe, with America, in Saudi Arabia – we are preparing a meeting to accelerate peace and strengthen the foundations of security.
