President of Ukraine

Speeches

Drones are the technological backbone of modern warfare. Ukrainians must be leaders in this field. And in many ways, we already are.

Our Air Force has now been reinforced with French Mirage fighter jets, marking another step forward in the development of Ukrainian military aviation. This will allow us to carry out more missions. I also thank the Netherlands – a new batch of F-16 fighter jets has arrived, and this is significant.

We are also preparing a new agenda for the NSDC, in addition to the issues related to the financial resilience of our state. We need to support the financial stability of every Ukrainian family, of all our citizens.

We maintain our unity – global unity – and this truly weakens Russia’s ability to continue this insane and criminal aggression, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

The Russians do not change their objective of destroying Ukraine’s energy sector. They continue their attacks, constantly adjusting their strikes to the capabilities of our defense, making them more difficult to repel.

Just today, the rescue operations in Poltava were completed after a Russian missile strike. Unfortunately, this missile killed fourteen people, including two children.

Now we are working to attract more resources and partners to strengthen the Ukrainian air shield. Protection against shelling is an absolute priority.

Today we received a report from the military: the frontline, the situation with brigades – manning. We are preparing new formats to support brigades and man our units. I have given instructions to present the details to the public next week.

Every such Russian strike must face a response from the world – terror must not go unpunished. The most effective response is to support our people and our state.

Today an initial report was given by Government officials and team of the Office – Oleksii Kuleba and Viktor Mykyta – on critical programs that are now suspended and were previously funded by American support.
