President of Ukraine

Speeches

The strikes must stop, the killings must stop – and only then can a solution be sought through negotiations. We are ready for any format of dialogue.

We are striving to synchronize Ukrainian sanctions as fully as possible with all those in Europe, so that this becomes a joint position, and we already have good results.

Sadly, Russia is still close – and we don’t see any real changes in their behavior. We need to stand together not just politically, but in a purely practical sense to defend against real challenges.

The ceasefire should not be just for a few days, only to return to killing afterward. It must be immediate, full, and unconditional – for at least 30 days to ensure it is secure and guaranteed. This is the foundation that could lead to real diplomacy.

The Russians talk a lot about their alleged readiness to accept American proposals, but so far, there have been no signs of the Russian army preparing for real silence. On the contrary, since Easter, the occupier has resumed its usual assault activity – of course, at the cost of significant losses, the Russians are trying to advance.
