In Bucharest, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Romania Nicușor Dan.

The Head of State thanked him for the invitation to the Bucharest Nine Summit.

“Today, we discussed a wide range of issues. It is important that we are moving with our partners towards technological cooperation,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The President proposed cooperation in a special Drone Deal format and informed that Ukraine had already signed a relevant agreement with Lithuania today. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Nicușor Dan agreed that their teams would work through all the details.

The meeting also addressed Ukraine’s European integration. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that our country aims to move as quickly as possible to the opening of negotiation clusters and counts on Romania’s support in this regard.

The leaders also discussed the implementation of agreements in various areas reached during the President of Ukraine’s visit to Bucharest in March.

Nicușor Dan separately expressed gratitude for Ukraine taking into account proposals from the Romanian community in matters related to the organization of the educational process.
