During a working trip to the Donetsk region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline positions of the Ukrainian army in the area of the Joint Forces Operation and congratulated the military on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Head of State talked to the servicemen and presented valuable gifts to them.
The President also presented five servicemen with state awards.
"I am honored to be with you today. Thank you for defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State urged the defenders of Ukraine to take care of themselves so that they could later tell their descendants about the heroism of the Ukrainian army.
"I am convinced that with people like you, we will definitely win," the President said.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with the operational situation in the JFO area and inspected the command post of one of the AFU brigades.
