President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with wounded warriors who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at one of Kharkiv’s medical institutions.
These defenders fought for Ukraine on various frontlines, including the Pokrovsk, Vovchansk, and Kupyansk directions. The Head of State spoke with them, thanked them for their service, and presented them with the Orders “For Courage,” 3rd class, and the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine.”
"Thank you for truly defending Ukraine. We are sincerely proud to have such warriors – resilient people, great, young, and strong. I wish you a speedy recovery," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President also thanked the combat medics who help wounded servicemen recover and presented them with the Medals “For Military Service to Ukraine” and “For Saved Life.”
“Thank you for your service. Thank you for doing everything you can here in the Kharkiv region to help our guys and girls recover. The first thing they talk about is how grateful they are to the doctors. Thank you – to you and all your colleagues – for your service to Ukraine,” said the Head of State.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the operation of a mobile field hospital. It had previously been used on the front line but is now integrated into the medical facility to expand its capacity to treat the wounded.
