Chief Operating Officer of Bring Kids Back UA Dariia Zarivna and Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil met with children who had been brought back from temporarily occupied territories.
Such meetings are one of the steps in the reintegration of children and their psychological recovery.
The children shared their experiences, spoke about what they had gone through, their dreams, and how they are adjusting after returning home.
"Each of you is incredibly strong. You’ve already been through more than anyone should in childhood. And the fact that you are here is not just a joyful occasion. It is your personal victory and the beginning of a new path. Remember, Ukraine stands with you – if you have dreams, we want to help you realize them. We are bringing Ukrainian children back home, helping them rediscover themselves, and making sure they feel that someone is there for them, waiting and offering support," said Dariia Zarivna.
Jerry Heil is an ambassador for Bring Kids Back UA and is actively involved in initiatives aimed at supporting children who have experienced deportation, forced displacement, or life under temporary occupation.
The President of Ukraine’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative works systematically not only to return children who were illegally deported, but also to support their reintegration. Providing psycho-emotional support and creating a safe environment are essential parts of this effort.
