Ukrainian-Language Audio Guides Launched in the Netherlands, Latvia, and Jordan

Three more Ukrainian-language audio guides have been launched around the world, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska announced.

Ukrainian-language tours are now available at the Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam  – the only museum in the world fully dedicated to the life and work of the Dutch artist; at the Latvian National Museum of History in Riga, which preserves Latvia’s spiritual and material culture from ancient times to the present; and at the rock city of Petra in Jordan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

In total, there are now 110 Ukrainian-language audio guides operating in museums, galleries, and cultural-historical sites across 56 countries.

“The history of every world landmark is a story of preserving heritage despite all challenges. In Ukraine, we understand this better than anyone, as our museums and landmarks are regularly damaged by Russian shelling. That is why we are continuing the Ukrainian Audio Guide project – to preserve memory, make knowledge and history more accessible, foster understanding between cultures, and support the Ukrainian language,” said the First Lady.
