The Olena Zelenska Foundation is presenting its interactive Christmas performance “Speaking Are Those Who Have Listened to Eternity” for the second time on the grounds of the National Conservation Area “Saint Sophia of Kyiv.” This was announced by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.
The performance, which combines modern technology with historical heritage, will be open to visitors from December 24 through January 11.
Using 3D technologies, the show brings to life stories preserved in ancient graffiti left by our ancestors. The performance transports audiences to the era of Rus’-Ukraine through live acting, choral singing, and light and sound special effects. For full immersion in the atmosphere of that time, viewers are provided with headphones featuring specially designed audio accompaniment.
“This is a warm, festive event for school-age children and adults alike – about history as part of our cultural code and about Christmas as a celebration that unites generations,” Olena Zelenska noted.
The performance premiered in December last year and attracted more than 4,000 viewers – both children and adults – in just a few days.
The event is free of charge. The stage director is Olena Koliadenko. Admission is available by prior registration on the website of the National Conservation Area “Saint Sophia of Kyiv.”
