President Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on preparations for the meetings with the national security advisors to European leaders, which will take place today, December 3, in Brussels.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov will also participate in the negotiations.
The President noted that this is Ukraine’s ongoing coordination with partners, and Ukraine ensures that the negotiation process is fully active. According to the Head of State, Ukrainian representatives will brief their colleagues in Europe on what is known following yesterday’s contacts by the American side in Moscow, and will also discuss the European component of the necessary security architecture.
After Brussels, Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov will begin preparations for a meeting with envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump in the United States.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that, as always, Ukraine will work constructively in pursuit of a real peace. The President expects a new report following the results of today’s meetings in Europe.
