Ukraine is working over the formula to return Crimea. It was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the panel discussion at the 16th annual YES meeting in Kyiv.
"To be honest - we are thinking, we have several formats, several ideas," the Head of State said, answering questions about Ukraine's strategy to free Crimea from the Russian occupation.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that it was too early to talk about any details and he would not like to reveal them. "I can't tell you this - it will be too early. It will be like a release (of the detainees - ed.), so I do not want anyone to use our ideas,” he said.
The Head of State believes the return of Crimea would be the most difficult issue.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine noted that he had not met in the Normandy format yet and had not met with the President of the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian President also looks forward to a meeting with President of the United States Donald Trump. "I have important meetings that I told you about and a meeting with the President of the United States. We are considering a model. We will fight to return Crimea. And not just in words,” the Head of State summarized.
