Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Brusylo held a meeting with Martin Kačo, Director General for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
The key topic of the negotiations was the prospects for further dialogue between Ukraine and Slovakia, as well as areas of bilateral cooperation.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office informed his Slovak counterpart about the current situation in Ukraine, in particular the intensification of Russian attacks involving around 500 Shahed drones and missiles of various types in a single night.
“The scale of Russian attacks continues to grow, which requires an appropriate response from the international community. It is important to synchronize sanctions policy. Sanctions are not just a tool – they are pressure on the aggressor state to deprive it of the ability to continue this war of aggression,” Ihor Brusylo emphasized.
The meeting also touched upon potential joint projects, with a focus on cooperation in logistics and humanitarian initiatives. In particular, the parties discussed demining.
