Ukrainian-Language Audio Guides Begin Operating in Luxembourg and Azerbaijan

Ukrainian-language audio guides have begun operating in Luxembourg and Azerbaijan. This was announced by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, who is implementing the project to incorporate the Ukrainian language into landmarks around the world.

In total, thanks to this initiative, 102 audio guides have already been launched in 53 countries.

In particular, Ukrainian-language audio was introduced at the Luxembourg National Museum of Natural History.

“It clearly illustrates the long and difficult journey shared by all countries and nations – the journey of becoming human. And that means, among other things, preserving our sense of responsibility for others and for nature. For us in Ukraine, this is a particularly painful issue, because the war unleashed by Russia has put not only us, but also our nature, at risk,” the First Lady stressed.

A Ukrainian-language audio tour is now also available on the Caspian Sea coast – on the world’s first tanker museum, the Surakhani, which is moored in Baku.

“Ukrainians who are – or who will be – in Luxembourg or Azerbaijan now have something to see and hear in their own language. And with that, a better chance to understand the new countries. And perhaps even their own history. After all, museums connect the world by telling the stories that matter to everyone. And that is exactly what our language is doing now through the Ukrainian audio guide project,” Olena Zelenska concluded.
