President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited wounded defenders and medical personnel in one of Zaporizhzhia hospitals and presented them with state awards.
The Head of State spoke with the warriors who were wounded in the Zaporizhzhia sector and are now recovering and undergoing rehabilitation.
“It’s a difficult sector – we were there today. Thank you for your service and for defending Ukraine. I wish you a speedy recovery,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President awarded the defenders with the Orders “For Courage,” II and III classes, and the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine.”
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with military medics and presented them with the Order of Princess Olga and the Orders of Danylo Halytskyi.
“I want to thank you for saving our warriors every day. Your profession is extremely important. You carry out a difficult mission that gives hope to our warriors and brings them back to life,” the Head of State emphasized.
